We absolutely adored the game’s reinvention of the genre as well as it’s stunning visuals. Since it’s release the game has earned huge critical success and we’ve been lucky enough to carve some time out of lead designer of Trine and CEO of Frozenbyte, Lauri Hyvärinen to ask some questions about the game’s production and what’s next for the company. Fantasy adventure in three parts

Trine’s concept is simple, the souls of three heroes (a Knight, a Thief and a Mage) get fused together when they touch an ancient artifact resulting in them being bound together to stop the undead army that’s taken over their fantasy kingdom. Players control the three characters individually but alternate on the fly to use the appropriate abilities to get through the epic platform adventure.
