X’09 comes once a year and is Canada’s largest Xbox gaming showcase. It’s the one venue most major publishers choose to showcase their best and brightest coming in the holiday season to the Xbox 360. Activision, Ubisoft, EA, and more were present at the event to give some hands-on time to some of this year’s most anticipated titles. The following is a recount of GeneralGames.ca’s first hands-on experience with many of these games.
Shadow Complex has been surrounded by much mystery since it’s unveil at E3 earlier this year. The action platformer in the vein of Castlevania and Metroid has quickly become one of the most anticipated titles to be released this summer as part of Microsoft’s Summer of Arcade promotion. With the game coming out this Wednesday on the Xbox Live Arcade a few organizations, including GeneralGames.ca have been provided access to the game for review purposes. While our review will be holding for completion for now, we’d like to share a small tidbit we found in the game’s credits. It turns out that Shadow Complex may hold more mystery still.
